being asked to do my first comissioned painting (& having it hanging in a bar here in town...pretty neat!)

being hello kitty for halloween,

having our first christmas tree,

moving into our gorgeous new loft,

having many a many a many a good time with great friends,

celebrating our ♥ one year ♥ (soon to be two),

waking up to this beautiful boy (it's nothing new this year but he's still a favourite),

going to see incubus for the 4th time this summer,

with these amazing people (& kyle!)

having these cuties visit over the summer from aus,

going to the beach (i rarely get to one)

i'm sure there are about a million things i've missed...oh, like this blog for one! if i'm not mistaken i started it this year. it's hard to sum up a year in one post...but most of you have been reading for awhile & know how awesome my 2009 was...here's hoping 2010 is just as good! & yours as well

christmas was awesome this year! it was a little different as we usually have a big christmas at my grammas or her sisters with all of our extended family as well (usually between 30-40 of us) but this year we just did it smaller, with the 4 of us, my two grammas, my aunt margorie and my mums friend carol (whose birthday it was as well!) i got lots of lovely gifts and had a great day...the next day my mum & i went boxing day shopping and i had some good finds as well! looking forward to new years and having three days off afterwards.

mikey & i got some christmas money so we are still planning our vacation in february afterall...we weren't sure we'd be able to afford it but we can so we're super excited about it!! we'll be booking it soon, all inclusive, somewhere hot & beachy :) eeee! i can't wait...

who hates working ten to seven on christmas eve? oh, meeee i do! i feel like the 24th & 25th should be the holidays...i am PRAYING for vto today & then i would get to make it home earlier then 9pm tonight...keep your fingers & toes crossed for me please! anyway, i just wanted to wish all you bloggers a

mikey & i made dinner the other night & had our christmas together (as i go home for christmas, he stays here with his family) so we had it a bit ago and these are the wonderful presents that my darling boyfriend spoiled me with:

a nixon watch; the misty (in red, as shown)

a samsara purse (samsara is a sister company to mat&nat) i got this bag but in black as i already have a great brown volcom one, that mikey actually got me last year...

& last but NOT least,

a new digital camera!! a really really wonderful one...and it's pink! not to choose favourites here but this is it...i have been wanting needing a new digital camera for, well probably a few years now. the one i have now still works okay but changes from black&white to colour whenever it feels like it (been dropped a few times) and well, lets be honest...it's 6.1 mega pixels...this one is double that & has a ton of sweet features!! i can't wait to take so many photos (which is nothing new haha)

& remember me telling you about my christmas present to myself? it came in the mail the other day & it's sooooo pretty!

of course the camera doesn't do the sparkles justice...

i haven't been blogging much as it's been busy, between working later shifts at work (not getting home til 7 or so) and last minute christmas stuff, it's left little time for blogging! but i do want to thank bryan for making me a blog header which i love! bryan is mikeys brother & he's a great web designer!

i'm getting kind of excited for a new year. december is always so busy that sometimes you forget that a new year is right around the corner, i have a good feeling about this one. i think i probably always say that, but i really do...and really, the last few years things have been getting better&better

you kind of can't have any shame at the laundry mat because there is almost always a guy (generally older) checking out your underwear collection...hope he enjoyed, majority is hello kitty. yes hi, i'm actually five years old.

so i fiiiiiiinally did my laundry. that was about two months in the making (no lies) it's pathetic that i have that much clothes that i don't have to do laundry for two months. it's when i run out of socks&undies that i know it's laundry time.

i've definitely enjoyed my three day weekend; two christmas parties, lots of great food & drunks...i mean, drinks ;) & times spent with great friends. that's what the holidays are about to me! i can't wait for the next four days of work to pass so i can head home for christmas ♥ mikey & i are having our christmas tonight & hopefully going to see avatar in 3D. in fact, i need to go get some groceries for our dinner!
