today was pretty chilly...and i loved it! first taste of fall...perhaps? it IS almost september. wow, i can't believe it. summer's go by faster&faster every year it seems. not that i mind...i'm not much of a summer person anyway.

so i was at home this weekend...hence the no blogging. it was a nice time of course, went out for drinks with lots of friends on friday night which was lovely, saturday i lounged and relaxed (something i rarely do) got all caught up on my laundry and entourage. that night megs came over and we watched coraline (super cute movie! i really liked it) and today i didn't do a whole lot; went to go visit my gramma and had a nice dinner at home with my parents then for a walk with my mum. now i'm just waiting for mikey to come home from band practice so i can smother him in kisses.

oh ya and did i mention that earlier in the week, mikey bought me a single rose...for no reason at all! awww, so cute! girls love that stuff. i definitely needed these little cheer up surprises this week as i've been pretty stressed out about this new department i'm going to be working for (training is over tomorrow and we go on the floor on monday) eek!! definitely nervous. buuut i'm heading home this weekend so that should be nice!!

oh ya and i got a REALLY sweet paycheque today as well...my last cheque with commission on it (sadface) but it was a big one!

i really really really want this sweater...but it's $109.99...the worst part is though, the store my boyfriend works at (which also happens to be right across the street from our apartment) carries it, and it will torture me day in and day out.

i've been a little tired this week...training is pretty draining (hehe, that rhymed) but really, it has been. lots&lots of new information that we have to learn so i've been a little stressed. i'm nervous about going live (again...i remember feeling this several months ago when i first went on the floor) a part of me would love to just stay in training foreverrrr! i did some overtime last night as well, 10 hour day annnd there's overtime availible all next week as well so i volunteered to do that just so i'm not super rusty after 3 weeks of not being on the phones...that and i get time and half; woo $$$! BUT that means 10 hours days monday through friday (7 hours in training and 3 hours on the phones)the things we do for money hey? it runs lives. unfortunately.

anyway...

tonight i am meeting up for beers at the only with meg when she's done worky and then later tonight, mikey & i are having a date night and going to see district 9, i am super stoked as i love nerdy alien movies and i've heard it's reallyreally good! (oh ya and i adore movie popcorn) tomorrow i will hopefully be able to sleep in (i can't seem to anymore much really) and then mikey&i are going to a wedding (of his friends...i don't really know them well at all) but it will still be fun to dress up :) annnd sunday, i'm meeting up with alycat in toronto ♥ going to be a good weekend.

i just bought this pretty metallic grey nailpolish; steel-her heart by revlon and i am already so in love with it. i just painted my nails...and i declare, that this is going to be a big nail colour this fall. it's SO pretty and a nicer, shinier alternative to black. whatddya think?
