i still cannot believe what i saw on the news last night
i'm sure everyone (around the world) has seen clips of what has been happening in toronto, as i said last night there is a difference between protesting and these anarchists who are ruining the streets of toronto. i cannot understand what is going through their heads...
it's truly sad.

to think that this is happening because of the G20 summit in toronto is disgusting.
i understand protesting for something you believe in but setting fire to (now 3) police vehicles and smashing store window fronts as a way of getting back at society and the government...i think that's going a little far! people are getting hurt and because of the mass amounts of protestors and police, they are unable to get help . all public transportation in toronto has been shut down and major streets in/out of the city have been blocked.

last night mikey & i spent a quiet night in which was just what we both needed. i especially, had been going out a lot in the last little bit and doing lots of things so a quiet night watching UP was amazing. we made a delicious pasta dinner & then mikey chose UP for us to watch, it is embarassing how much that movie makes me cry. i am literally bawling within the first 10 minutes, that opening scene kills me...and then everytime he talks to ellie throughout the movie; gosh it's precious.
this morning i enjoyed a sleep in, til noon (haven't done that in awhile!) and the whole time little miss electric was sleeping above my head with her little paw on my hand, it was absolutely adorable & made me not want to get out of bed whatsoever...alas, there are 'to do' lists calling my name...lucky for me today is a rainy day and it's an excuse to stay inside and get lots of things done...

hehe. the little guy i got for sarah. we named him chubby cheeks charlie (which sounds so much cuter when she says it with her accent)

it was an awesome show; i hadn't been to one in awhile!
earlier today we had a goodbye lunch with everyone (& sarah) as she heads off for the airport soon. it's going to be strange without her around, she's a wonderful wonderful friend!

work on my resume
go to the library
call my gramma

laying low for the rest of the weekend as it's been a very busy week! sunday and monday we are going to megs cottage so that'll be nice, i'm looking forward to it. i hope the weather is sunshiney!

yesterday after lianne & i had lunch we ran into some friends and made some last minute decision to head to burley falls for the day & it turned out to be so much fun!

yesterday we had some weird weather. before we went to burley falls, i was waiting for them to come and pick me up and we had a little earthquake; i've never felt anything like that before. it lasted like ten seconds but it was so bizarre...but really neat! we were on tornado watch last night as well but i don't think anything happened from that!

today the clouds were doing pretty things,
no editing...

yesterday i got this sweet vintage samsonite bag, small enough that i can use it for a purse! i'm assuming it's a carry on, but isn't it amazing?? i'm in love. tonight we are going to the one year anniversary party for sympathy for the rebel which is a great vintage store downtown here run by a friend of ours. if you spent $10, you got on the guestlist for the show...no problems there! the show is going to be SO good; birthdays boys, rikers & money money ♥!!
