so, i just came across this great blog called the flower girl she's 18, owns her own vintage shop in the UK and has amazing style. kay, i wish i was as cool as her when i was 18...hell, i wish i was as cool as her now at 25! i feel like i can relate more to her style then most fashion bloggers, she has a simpler approach and i dig it. a lot of the fashion blogs i follow own thousands worth of designer clothes that i will never be able to afford, or they have a completely different stlye than me (which is probably why i find them interesting) it's rare to come across someone's blog where i would literally wear every single outfit they post...i think i've finally found her!

this...is the best nailpolish on earth. nude. i love it.

even though i have to cut my nails short (for work...yes, at H&M...they get so messed up there!) i love that this nude nailpolish still looks really pretty and simple and maybe kind of makes my fingers look longer? ...maybe...

oops, i should've flipped this. i got this book for a penny on amazon.ca. for those who can't read backwards it's 'coffee, tea or me?' by trudy baker & rachel jones...a story of stewardesses from the 60s, when flying & being a stewardess was classy and glamorous! so far so good...been reading it on and off all day; from the couch...to the bath...to our bed, haha what? i've been taking it easy, my muscles are so sore (wah!) going for dinner soon at mikey's mums place, yum!!! have i ever mentioned she makes the BEST dinners? sorry mum...you'll understand when you try it!

speaking of family, i am headed to the cottage this weekend. we're having a family reunion of sorts which i am super excited about! my (extended) family used to only get together on christmas, however with mixed families and different locations and everyone's own agendas, even that has been hard the past few years so it's not often that i get to see my aunts and uncles and cousins and everyone...i hope it's a lovely, sunny day!!

side note: i have from now until monday at five off. this is absolutely unheard of since i got my second job. i have lots of plans and am going to enjoy every.single.second!

in other news, yesterday was my first personal training session. it felt really great at the time, but today...every.single.bone.in.my.body hates me...and is hurting like mad! i have another one tomorrow afternoon so am hoping that my muscles loosen up by then! also...whoever invented the burpie can burn in hell...

i love this top. it's 100% polyester which you'd think would be gross but it's so light and silky and breezy, so comfy! also i am trying to incorporate more patterns into my wardrobe & to stay away from stripes this season as last year that's pretty much all i bought!

yesterday was great, i had a nice little morning, worked at H&M from 12-5, went for an ice cream date with lianne (mint choc. chip, yum!!) made dinner for mikey & myself and went to bed early. today i'm working 12:30-9:30 at H&M...have i mentioned lately how lucky i really am to truly like my jobs and ALL of my co-workers? that doesn't happen often! i've been counting my blessings a lot lately. it's a good reminder how things aren't so bad, even when they feel like they are sometimes.
