i did a little interview with her so you can get to know her...
hi tiffany, i see that you're new in the blogging world, tell us a little bit about yourself...
Well I just turned 30 in December, I live in Chicago with my husband and two daughters. I work full-time in a lawfirm downtown, and I absolutely love my job. In my free time I love to catch some live music. Being in Chicago there are so many different things to do on the weekends, or even during the week! So many great shows anywhere you go. Typically I like to catch a punk show, but I can really enjoy any kind of music.
I love tattoos. People ask, "What do you do in your spare time other than crochet?", get tattoos! A friend of mine recently opened a shop near my house, so I'm there quite often. I'm currently working on a full sleeve. Once that's finished, I'll move onto my back.
your scarves are sooo cute & look so comfy, what made you start crocheting & how long have you been doing it for?
I actually just started crocheting about a year ago. Every night on my train ride home from work, I watched a group of older women crochet. I was fascinated at how fast their hands worked with the hook and the yarn. Each day they would have more and more done. When I saw one woman's finished afghan, I fell in love. It was then I decided I wanted to learn. I wanted to be able to create handmade gifts for people, to see people's faces light up when they see how much thought and work I've put into a gift for them. So I began a little here and there, mostly on my train rides to and from work which are about an hour each way. My first baby blanket came out horribly. I've learned so much from then, and continue to learn as I go.
you're new to the blogging world, how fun!! & welcome :)

what made you want to start blogging??
I've always had a thing for crafting. I haven't ever really crafted much, but I like to see what other people make. A friend of mine told me about blogs that you can follow and get tutorials on how to make things. So I just started peeking around the blogging community. I guess you can't "follow" blogs without a blog of your own, so I registered for a blog purely to be a "follower". After "stalking" many blogs, I finally started catching on to how a lot of people link their blogs with their Etsy shops. I had so many people telling me that I need to start selling my scarves. I never thought I would have the time to do that. Well here I am...finding the time! I had no idea blogging was so involved. Adding an Etsy shop to that is a lot of work! And with a full-time day job, two kids and a husband, I'm constantly going, going, going!
